When I was in school I never had the chance of doing a sport, first because in my school it was not important, and second because I was always very bad in it.

The only sport I practiced a bit was basketball, but over the time I realized that I was not very good in it and I didn't liked it that much either. My team and I where invited two times to a competition, but I was very bad and I hated to fight with the other girls.

So I realized that sports where not my thing, so I decided to practice something esle.

I started going to a art class after school, I really loved that because we could paint all afternoon and we had all the materials for us; brushes, paint, papers, scissors ...

Then a teacher told us about a new class after school: orchestra. First I didn't think that I would like it, but then I met Luis Palma, the teacher in that class and I knew that I would love it.

First I thought  that I would play the violin, but the teacher asked someone to play the violoncello and I agreed.

I started to practice more and more and over time we started playing in presentations, little concerts, we played for groups of people and it made me very happy.

That was when I was like 9 or 10 years old. Then in my 16 birthday my parent gave me a cello and I never stoped playing anymore.

My best holidays

My best holidays ever were this summer because I traveled with my best friends to the south of Chile just with our backpacks. We decided to travel without a define destination, so first we went to my grandmothers house in Cañete and we were there four days and we visited some lakes next to the house like Lanalhue and Lleu Lleu. Then we made our backpacks and we started the most fun and exhausting part. We started hitchhiking for the first time in my life. The first day we go to Villarica and there my dad invited us to a cabin next to the native forest. It was full of beautiful birds and trees like Canelos and Ulmos. We take a interurban bus to Panguipulli and lunch in the lake some bread and juice. The next day we decided to hitchhike far. That was our only destination. W e walked ten kilometers when a car decided to take us to Choshuenco. Then a couple left us next to Neltume and we had decided to stay there when a man offered to take us to Pue...
Mili  When I was a child I shared my life with some animals. Rayen was the first dog in the family. She was a boxer but my sister decided to adopt a little dog who lived in the street. The both were too big and we had to find an other home for Rayen. Zoe, the other dog lived with us for 6 years. Then she got cancer. It was one of the biggest pains of my life.  In the  earthquake in 2010 a friend of my mom told us that she had found a cat in a bag in the trash. She had broken glass in her legs and she already lived with many cats. We decided to make the cat part of our family. When Mili came to the hose she was an adult cat, so it was hard. She was angry and scared all the time. I had to be a lot with her and we made friends. With the time Mili understood that in our home nobody was going to hurt her. Mili now is ten years old, she is an adult cat and she is sweet, she sleeps every night with me and I really love her. We are friends and ...

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

In this blog I will write about the changes that I would make to my study program in the sociology major. I will not be realistic at all, because I feel that the most important thing is a much deeper change than just a few small things. First, about the subjects I think it is important that in our major to have more art, music and sports classes will allow us to educate ourselves more deeply and to be much happier beings. Regarding the workload and length of studies I think it is the number of hours we attend classes is good, it is very important to be and hear the teachers and classmates, but I think it is not necessary to send so many tasks, texts and final tests , because it is not a parameter of knowledge, it only tires us and makes us suffer. Chile is one of the countries where the major  lasts five years or more, which is ridiculous because it is expensive to study and very few can pay so many years. I feel privileged in terms of infrastructu...
